Kelly is a born and raised Austinite. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from Schreiner University in 2015 and a MA in Counseling from St. Edward’s University in 2018. While at St. Ed’s, she took an internship at Capital Area Counseling and The Christi Center, where she honed her passion for the LGBTQIA+ and grief & loss communities, as well as informing her passion for working with clients with trauma.
Kelly pursued further education by attending Weekend 1 of EMDR training from the EMDR Institute. She has a strong passion for continuing education and has received training in DBT and ACT skills, career counseling, and much more. Most recently, Kelly participated in anti-racism training, however, she understands and is committed to the continuous learning process.
Outside of therapy, you can find Kelly with her nose stuck in a book (averaging at 80 books a year) or playing with her two sweet cats.
